Biocidal products are classified under 4 main groups;
- Disinfectants and general biocidal products
- Preservatives
- Biocidal products used for pest control
- Other biocidal products
Companies wishing to obtain a license for one or more of these product types must follow the License Application process conducted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey.
The Ministry of Health grants permission and license after a meticulous examination phase in order to ensure that consumers are fully informed about whether biocidal products pose any risks to human, animal and environmental health, elimination of risks, safe use, safe storage, fire control, etc.
